Our Producer’s Collection Box features three coffees from our friends at Finca Los Pinos. Each of the coffees in this collection is of the Maracaturra coffee varietal but has been processed differently, resulting in unique tasting notes. These are exquisite coffees that were crafted exclusively for Parisi Coffee by our friend Byron Corrales in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.
This set features 8 oz tubes of our Nicaragua Maracaturra Honey, Nicaragua Maracaturra Natural, and Nicaragua Maracaturra Washed, each of the same coffee varietal and from the same farm but uniquely processed. These Los Pinos microlots celebrate what coffee can be and our team has carefully roasted each batch to captivate our customers and showcase the beauty found in each bean. Our Nicaragua Maracaturra Honey was produced using the honey process, meaning the outer skin of the coffee cherry was removed while the inner mucilage was left to dry with the beans, enhancing the body and mouthfeel of the coffee. With a delicate, rich and complex profile, this coffee is full bodied with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel, and floral notes with a hint of spice.
Our Nicaragua Maracaturra Natural was produced using the natural process and laid out on beds to dry, resulting in bright tasting notes. Our Nicaragua Maracaturra Natural is a light medium roast with notes of Swiss chocolate, blackberry, and soft plum with a rich sweetness reminiscent of honey and caramel. It has subtle hints of chocolate and dark fruit undertones that add richness and depth to the cup with a medium body and silky mouthfeel.
Our Nicaragua Maracaturra Washed was produced using the washed process, resulting in a cup that is vibrant, clean, and full of exciting flavors. It appeals to those who appreciate a bright, fruit-forward coffee and showcases notes of apple, pear, and honeysuckle.
