Established in 2012, Women’s Hands was created to recognize and elevate the women who have always played a vital role in coffee farming, family life, and community stewardship. Across generations, these women have cared for the land, supported their households, and helped build resilient farming communities, even when their contributions were often unseen.
What began as a small group of a few dozen women has grown into a collective of more than 300 producers, with Women’s Hands coffees now shipping in meaningful volume each year. Through this program, women gain recognition, leadership opportunities, and ownership within the coffee trade.
