Coffee grown in the Harar region of Ethiopia is a real treat. Beans from this region are famous for their rich and fruity flavors. Due to the lack of water in the region, all coffees are natural process. Natural (dry) processing allows the skin to dry in the sun, imparting natural sugars to the beans. Dried beans are then hulled and sorted by hand. The Ethiopia Harar Mesela we are sharing with you is Grade 1, the highest level of quality. We roasted this selection to amplify the sweet, fruit flavors for your sipping enjoyment.
Natural processing gives this cup a heavy body with a dark berry sweetness. Blackberry, blueberry and plum are all layered against a background of dark chocolate.
